Orpington's Leading Boxing Club
The Club has a rich history that dates back to its formation in 1962 by Alf Reily at St Joseph’s RC boys school in Orpington. Over the years, the club has had various locations, including the Sea Cadet Hall in St Marys Cray and later in Ruxley, before finally settling at The Rosecroft Social Club in St Marys Cray.
Welcome to Orpington and District Amateur Boxing Club, Orpington’s Leading Boxing Club. We are a committee run amateur and professional club with various classes for all ages and abilities. So whether you have never boxed before or have years of experience, you will find a session to suit you. We have a fully equipped gym with state of the art equipment. Our coaching team are highly qualified with coaching with amateur coaching licences which includes first aid qualifications and fight experience plus DBS checks.
In addition to our children’s and adult’s boxing session we also offer Personal Training, helping you burn up to 1,000 calories and getting you in the best shape of your life.
Orpington & District ABC has a rich history dating back to 1962 when it was founded by Alfred James Reilly. The club has moved locations over the years, starting at St Josephs RC School in Orpington before settling at its current location in Pettswood. Our club has been a part of the Rosecroft Working Mans club, the Queens Head in Green st Green, and Tillingbourne Green. Throughout the years, the club has produced multiple England Boxing national champions.
